In this project, we were tasked with designing a restaurant for an Italian chain. The concept was conceived so it would be easy to duplicate as a franchise. We created a bench-table module that could be adapted to each of the various restaurants belonging to the chain.
But let's talk about something functional: air conditioning. In restaurants' interior design, air conditioning is often neglected in favor of other elements such as lighting or décor.
For this project, instead, we studied the AC system from the conceptual phase making it an architectural element. Instead of using the usual grilles, we used easily adjustable design vents strategically so they wouldn't annoy customers with drafts while they ate their meals.
For the ambience, we avoided boring landscape paintings.
Instead, we used portraits of famous Italian historical figures to add interest and depth to the space.

The interior design for this restaurant was developed within a multifunctional area hosting several restaurants. The client asked us to study a venue that could, be transformed into a bar and/or place to host events.
As we began our work, we decided to focus on the recurring element: wood. Other key elements that we incorporated were the ropes that wrap around the pillars. We added creative lighting to give guests a sense of dining outdoors under golden clouds.
All these elements create an atmosphere of relaxation with a warm and welcoming ambiance that allows customers to enjoy their meals in style and conviviality.

When entering this space, visitors can immediately notice the circular shape of this scheme. The curvatures are particularly prominent in the large circular shelving areas that, with a diffused ceiling light, resemble a window open to the sky.
This clubhouse is designed in a style that reflects the client's culture. This is a place where people come together to do business but at the same time also socialize and relax. A multifunctional place where contrasts are celebrated and elements representing opposites come together—warm and cold, yin and yang—to create something new, promoting positive and balanced energy.

We are delighted to share the interior design project we completed for an Italian restaurant in China.
The client wanted to bring a piece of his sunny hometown of Naples to the Far East.
​
We worked with him to include distinctive Italian and Neapolitan elements to transform this beautiful 650sqm space. We incorporated them everywhere, from the structural parts to the wall art featuring the traditional lucky charm of Naples. We even added a piece of Italian history in the form of the legendary Vespa scooter.

The predominant element is copper. We used it to add a feeling of warmth and light to the space. Copper was also used to create the lamps, custom-made by one of our suppliers.

It was a rewarding experience for us to dine at this restaurant and enjoy the fruit of our work. Above all, it was thrilling to feel "at home" on the other side of the world!
